Happy Fall everyone!

I'm sitting here looking out my window on a crisp Fall day. It is foggy this morning, but the sun is due to shine any minute.... we are having a week or so of a brief but lovely "Indian Summer". All of the berries and roots have been harvested and our shelves are full of tinctures in progress.

As you may know, we grind the roots and berries fresh in our lovely "Millie the Hammer Mill" and add our Menstruum of the appropriate Organic Grain Alcohol and Distilled Water Ratio, put them in gallon glass jars and let them soak for two months. Of course, we shake them daily. We have made Tinctures of Elder Berries, Hawthorne Berries, Cayenne Peppers, Elecampane Root, Ashwagandha Root, Marshmallow Root, Astragalus Root, Valerian Root and Echinacea Root- all fresh and vibrant!

In between all of the tincture making, we are producing fresh batches of our lip balms, astringent, syrups, salves, teas and oils. Yes, we are busy bees here at Terra Firma!
